TORONTO, ON Bernard (Bernie) Devoe of Sault Ste. Marie is $300,000 richer after winning with INSTANT TRIPLE MILLIONS (Game #2055).

A 62-year-old father and grandfather, Bernie was on his way to go fishing when he stopped to buy worms, snacks and his ticket. He didn’t play the ticket until later that evening and realized he won after uncovering the last number. “I said to my family, ‘I won $300,000!’ My wife and daughter came to look for themselves,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “My daughter used the OLG Lottery App to check, and the ‘Big Winner’ message appeared. We all started cheering, celebrating and jumping around the house!”

The bowling alley employee plans to pay his mortgage and some bills. “I’m also going to share some with my wife so she can enjoy some shopping,” he smiled.

“It’s wonderful. It feels like freedom,” he concluded.
